Privacy policy
Website policy, last updated 27 October 2026. The Coldkeep app will have its own policy here before it's released.
The short version
The free tools process your files on your device, and your files are never sent anywhere. The site counts visits with statistics we run ourselves, which set no cookies and keep no IP addresses. There are no ads, no accounts and no forms.

The free tools
Every tool on this site runs inside your browser tab. The photos you choose are read, converted and saved on your device, and there's no server that could receive them. Each tool page explains how to check this yourself: load the page, switch off the internet, reload, and the tool still works.
What's stored on your device
- Your theme choice (dark or light), if you change it, saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- An offline copy of the tool pages you open, saved by your browser (a service worker cache) so the tools work without the internet. It contains only our own pages and code, never your photos.
You can remove both by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. That's covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't use this data to track or profile visitors. What Cloudflare shows us is aggregate traffic, such as the number of requests, plus requests its security features block.
Statistics
To know how many people visit and which tools they use, the site counts visits with Umami, open-source statistics we run ourselves on our own server (fox.vsites.dev); no analytics company receives anything. It records the page, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, and the country and city worked out from your IP address. It also counts a few actions: finishing a batch in a tool (which tool and how many files), saving a result, opening "Try it offline", and clicking a tool or guide card.
Never a file, a file's name, what's in it or its metadata. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, doesn't keep your IP address and doesn't follow you to other sites. The Umami code is served from this website, so no other server's code runs on these pages. We keep the statistics for 25 months, use them only to improve the site, and never combine them with anything else. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Search engines
We use Google Search Console to see which searches lead to this site. It gives us totals, such as how often a page appeared in results and was clicked. It adds no code to this website and collects nothing from your visit.
Your rights
The statistics hold no IP address, cookie or account, so we can't find you in them, and there's nothing about your visit to see, correct or delete. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply. If you think we've got something wrong, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
