Hiding photos on Android, explained.

- Samsung Secure FolderSecure Folder is a locked area built into Samsung Galaxy phones. You set it up in Settings, move photos into it from Gallery, and open it with its own lock.
- Google Photos Locked FolderIn the Google Photos app, tap Collections, then Locked, and unlock with your phone's screen lock. Photos you move there are kept out of search, albums and sharing.
- Hide photos on AndroidMost Android phones can hide photos without a new app: Google Photos Locked Folder, Android's Private Space, Files by Google Safe folder, or Samsung's Secure Folder. Each works differently.
- Hide photos on SamsungOn a Galaxy phone you can move photos into Secure Folder, hide an album in Gallery, or use the Locked Folder in Google Photos. They differ a lot in how well they hide things.
